Newquay RNLI rescues fishing vessel
Newquay RNLI Atlantic 85, Gladys
Mildred, lifeboat launched at 08:00 hrs on Sunday 16th November 2008 to
assist a broken down fishing vessel.
The 30 ft fishing vessel had lost his
engines whilst in the Gazzle, just off Towan headland. Unable to drop
anchor he requested the assistance of the lifeboat.
The Atlantic 85 lifeboat helmed by Kevin
Gee too the vessel in tow and returned her safely to her moorings in the
harbour.
