Padstow
Padstow is an historic fishing harbour and its central
location in Cornwall, makes it a perfect base for visiting other parts
of this beautiful county. It is true to say that all the beaches in the
area are idyllic these range from long golden sands to small intimate
sheltered coves.
Padstow has many excellent restaurants from the well
known Seafood Restaurant, owned by Rick Stein, to more modest cafes,
bistros and excellent local restaurants and inns.
The renowned Camel Trail starts in Padstow following the
route of the old railway line as far as Bodmin and is much loved by
walkers, ornithologists and cyclists alike.
Bike hire is available at both Padstow and Wadebridge and
we can arrange this for you at Padstow Cycle Hire should you not have
your own bicycles.
Padstow provides an excellent centre for exploring
Cornwall’s many attractions. Lands End is only an 80 minutes drive,
Truro a mere 25 minutes and Newquay 15 minutes. Within easy reach are
The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Creally Adventure Park, Flambards, The Eden
Project, Lanhydrock…..plus many, many more local treasures to suit every
taste.
We look forward to welcoming you to Cornwall.
